Mission

Consumer advocacy for airline safety and affordability.

990-EZ for the year ended December 31, 2025

Program accomplishments

  • From January 2025 to December 2025, Affordable Skies focused on engaging with the flying public to provide research and education on aviation issues affecting consumers. We analyze policies being proposed by legislative and regulatory agencies that have an effect on the safety and affordability of air travel for consumers. We provided education and information while also gathering information from the public (via surveys and requests for their flying experiences) to better understand their concerns and needs regarding air travel. This analysis and airline industry education was communicated to our members through emails, newsletters, social media posts, and other information displayed on our website. At the end of 2025, our community engagement with the flying public expanded our membership to over 10,000 individuals who identify themselves as air travelers wanting their voices heard and requesting more information to be better informed about the airline industry and how it affects them. In addition to data collection, we continue to monitor and research aviation policy and issues in order to provide better education on aviation issues that our members request and that is needed.
