TO PRESERVE AND RESTORE THE GIFT OF SIGHT BY PROVIDING FREE OPHTHALMIC EXAMINATIONS, OPERATIONS, AND MEDICATIONS TO THE LESS FORTUNATE OF OUR COMMUNITY.

- THE FOUNDATION PROVIDES A SUBSIDY TO SUTTER CALIFORNIA PACIFIC MEDICAL CENTER LIONS EYE CLINIC. IN THE CURRENT YEAR, 2,197 OPHTHALMIC DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURES, 245 SURGERIES, 316 NEW PATIENTS, 713 INTRAVITREOUS INJECTIONS AND 43 ARGON AND YAG LASER SURGERIES WERE PERFORMED.Expenses $460,563
- THE FOUNDATION PAID MEDICAL COSTS FOR PATIENTS REFERRED TO THE CLINIC. THERE WERE 2,375 PATIENT VISITS, INCLUDING PRE AND POST-OP CLINIC VISITS.Expenses $38,085
- THE FOUNDATION PAID MOTEL AND TRAVEL COSTS FOR THE PATIENTS REFERRED TO THE CENTER. OVER 357 MOTEL NIGHTS WERE PAID IN THE FISCAL YEAR.Expenses $37,965
