OUR MISSION IS TO ADVANCE AND PROTECT THE RIGHTS, DIGNITY, AND HEALTH OF PEOPLE LIVING WITH HIV/AIDS IN THE BAY AREA. CONTINUED ON SCHEDULE OWE ACCOMPLISH THIS THROUGH DIRECT LEGAL REPRESENTATION BY ONE OF OUR STAFF ATTORNEYS, BY CAREFUL PLACEMENT OF CLIENTS WITH ONE OF OUR 280 VOLUNTEER PANEL ATTORNEYS, AND BY CONNECTING OUR CLIENTS TO NON-LEGAL SERVICE PROVIDERS TO SECURE OTHER VITAL RESOURCES.EVERY YEAR, WE HELP THOUSANDS OF CLIENTS STAY IN THEIR HOMES, GAIN ACCESS TO HEALTHCARE, BECOME LEGAL CITIZENS, IMPROVE THEIR FINANCES, AND CONNECT TO OTHER COMMUNITY SERVICES. BY ADDRESSING THEIR LEGAL PROBLEMS, ALRP SEEKS TO IMPROVE OUR CLIENTS' HEALTH AND WELL-BEING.SINCE OUR FOUNDING IN 1983, WE HAVE HANDLED OVER 100,000 CIVIL LEGAL MATTERS.
Program accomplishments
- ALRP PROVIDES LEGAL SERVICES TO PEOPLE LIVING WITH HIV/AIDS IN SEVEN COUNTIES IN THE SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA. IN 2025, ALRP HELPED MORE THAN 1,360 PEOPLE WITH HIV/AIDS IN OVER 2,100 LEGAL MATTERS; SUCCESSFULLY LEVERAGED OVER $900,000 IN DONATED LEGAL SERVICES; AND PROVIDED 11 MCLE TRAININGS TO 632 ATTORNEYS AND 42 OUTREACH PRESENTATIONS TO 842 CLIENTS, SERVICE PROVIDERS, AND COMMUNITY PARTNERS.Expenses $2,347,452 · revenue $7,750
