THE MISSION OF THE WEST CONTRA COSTA COUNTY COUNCIL OF INDUSTRIES IS TO PROVIDE A COMMON VOICE AND BE AN ADVOCATE OF BUSINESS AND INDUSTRY IN WEST CONTRA COSTA COUNTY ON ECONOMIC, SOCIAL AND POLITICAL ISSUES.
Program accomplishments
- WEST CONTRA COSTA COUNTY COUNCIL OF INDUSTRIES SERVES AS A FORUM FOR MEMBERS, HELPING IN THE EXCHANGE OF IDEAS, VIEWPOINTS AND SOLUTIONS TO PROBLEMS. MEMBERS MEET PERIODICALLY WITH COMMUNITY AND POLITICAL LEADERS, HELPING TO IMPROVE COMMUNICATIONS BETWEEN MEMBER INDUSTRIES, THE COMMUNITY, AND GOVERNMENT. WE PROACTIVELY IDENTIFY OPPORTUNITIES AND CONCERNS TO THE MEMBERS OF COMMUNITY AND TAKE A LEADERSHIP ROLE IN APPROPRIATE ACTION AND ADVOCACY.
