  • The Bootstraps docuseries and Boots on the Ground campaign aim to educate the public and create meaningful social impact around basic income and related economic issues. In 2025, the project advanced production of the docuseries and laid the groundwork for its broader impact campaign. Through ethical storytelling, nationwide screenings, educational programs, podcasts, social media, and community engagement, the project seeks to reach broad audiences, encourage informed public dialogue, and increase awareness and understanding of basic income and its potential impact on communities.

  • In 2025, Comingle made significant progress toward launching its platform. After addressing complex engineering, financial, legal, and compliance requirements, Comingle successfully completed two phases of beta testing: a play money beta using real bank integrations to simulate transfers and a real money beta enabling actual transfers among a small group of testers. These milestones provided valuable real-world insights into the platforms user experience and potential. In 2026, Comingle plans to expand beta testing and work toward launching a larger pilot program by year-end, while continuing to prioritize its public-benefit mission and ethical governance.

The purpose of the Program is twofold: (a) to relieve poverty and promote the general welfare of individuals in financial need by providing recurring unconditional cash transfers, and (b) to further ITSAs charitable and educational mission by demonstrating the real-world effects of unconditional basic income on individuals facing barriers to economic stability. The Program is currently providing $300 per week to a man who was released from incarceration after almost 30 years. After a year of receiving payments, he has remained out of prison and is in the process of obtaining the training and certifications needed to pursue his desired career as a truck driver.

  • Income Movement's mission is to build community-based coalitions and the grassroots advocacy network necessary to educate the public and elected leaders about the value and impact of basic income. We coordinate and support the people-powered movement to grow basic income from a radical idea to widespread public acceptance and gain a national program in the next decade. The support was provided to co-sponsor Income Movement's 2025 BIG Conference.
