Mission
PHENOME HEALTH'S MISSION IS TO DEVELOP THE TOOLS & INSIGHTS THAT POWER DATA-DRIVEN PERSONALIZED HEALTH. WE ENVISION A WORLD WHERE EVERYONE IS EMPOWERED BY THEIR OWN DATA TO IMPROVE WELLNESS AND PREVENT DISEASE.
Program accomplishments
- PREDICTIVE MODELING. WE CONTINUED THE PAST YEARS EFFORTS TO BUILD COMPUTATIONAL MODELS AND THE REQUIRED BIOINFORMATIC PIPELINES FOR THE PURPOSE OF MODELING HEALTH TRAJECTORIES FOR INDIVIDUALS GIVEN PERSONAL HEALTH DATA AS INPUTS TO MODELS. ALL DATA ARE DEIDENTIFIED WITH NO ACCESS TO PHI OR PII BY PERSONNEL WORKING ON THE MODELING EFFORTS. IN 2025, WE ADDED ACCESS TO MORE PUBLIC DATABASES TO INFORM OUR MODELS AS DELIVERABLES FOR OUR CURRENT FEDERALLY FUNDED PROJECTS.Expenses $2,254,436
- TYPE 2 DIABETES STUDY. IN 2025, WE BEGAN LOGISTICAL EXECUTION AND STUDY SET-UP OF A TYPE II DIABETES STUDY THAT WE COMPLETED A PILOT FOR IN 2024. THIS STUDY WILL ENROLL 1000 PATIENTS WITH DIABETES, THROUGH CLINICAL PARTNERSHIPS. THE FIRST RECRUITED PATIENT WILL ENROLL IN 2026. THE STUDY IS INTENDED TO DENTIFY SUBTYPES OF TYPE II DIABETES THROUGH PROFILING BLOOD SAMPLES, FACILITATING TO MORE TAILORED INTERVENTIONS IN A SUB-TYPE SPECIFIC MANNER.Expenses $1,247,134
- MULTIOMIC DATA PLATFORM BUILD. IN 2025 WE CONTINUED TO INVEST IN BUILDING A COMPUTATIONAL ENVIRONMENT CAPABLE OF SERVING THE NEED TO INGEST AND ANALYZE HIGH DIMENSIONAL HEALTH DATA. THIS PLATFORM REQUIRES CONTINUED FEATURE DEVELOPMENT AND MAINTENANCE. IT IS CURRENTLY SERVING EXISTING PREDICTIVE MODELING NEEDS AND WILL SERVE PROJECTS WE SECURE FUNDING FOR IN THE FUTURE.Expenses $1,295,101
- PRE-DIABETES STUDY. IN ADDITION TO TYPE II DIABETES STUDY, IN 2025 WE BEGAN ANALYSIS OF A SET OF SAMPLES COLLECTED BY A COLLABORATOR OVER 15 YEARS THAT REPRESENT PEOPLE-AT-RISK FOR DIABETES BUT WITHOUT A DISEASE DIAGNOSIS AT THE TIME OF ENROLLMENT. THIS STUDY IS DESIGNED TO IDENTIFY PRE-DIAGNOSTIC, SUB-TYPE SPECIFIC MARKERS IN BLOOD THAT COULD INFORM TAILORED PREVENTION STRATEGIES BEYOND THE STANDARD CURRENT APPROACHES.
