Program accomplishments
- We've continued to produce digital art exhibitions this year and continued to collaborate with the two other non-profit organizations. The first, Urban Health 360 who continues to sponsor "Urbanization and Health International Art Exhibition" (https://www.artimpactinternational.org/urbanization-and-health-art-exhibition). This show opened on March 2022 and will continue to run through December 31, 2025. This exhibit continues to bring light to health in urban poor communities. The second non-profit collaboration continues with Youth For Human Rights International: "ArtWalk Dupont Circle International Human Rights Day Art Exhibition 2024" A one-day show, December 6, 2024 in honor of International Human Rights Day. The monthly first Friday pop-up shows are very engaging in the community with over 300 visitors. This is creating and increasing awareness about The Universal Declaration of Human Rights as we collaborate with The National Affairs Office in Washington DC - housed in a national registry landmark, Fraser Mansion. (https://www.artimpactinternational.org/dupont-circle-artwalk-exhibit). "Juneteenth 2024 International Art Exhibition" We invited artists from all over the world to create original artwork based on this subject of being freed from slavery. Here they are showcasing their talent to inspire the global public to remember and protect freedom. (https://www.artimpactinternational.org/juneteenth-2024). "Juneteenth 2024" also continues to be shown online. (https://www.artimpactinternational.org/juneteenth-2023) "Against All Odds! Black History Past, Present and Future, International Art Exhibition", honors and commemorates the monumental achievements of African Americans in the face of Scientific Racism and eugenics. The exhibit features works across various media - painting, sculpture, photography, film, music and more - will highlight stories of courage, resilience, excellence and human dignity in the ongoing struggle for racial justice and equality. (https://www.artimpactinternational.org/against-all-odds) We produced a two-gallery virtual exhibition for one of our members who has greatly benefited from the presentation using the virtual space as an interactive art portfolio. He's landed a New York gallery with this! Garry Nichols, "A Tasmanian in New York" opened May 17, 2024 and is long-running. (https://www.artimpactinternational.org/garry-nichols) "Signed Masterpieces, International Art Exhibition & Global Competition Honoring the Beauty of Sign Languages Around the World" Opened on October 15, 2023 and continued to run through April 30, 2024. Sponsored by one of our own members, Komal Patel. (https://www.artimpactinternational.org/signed-masterpieces) With these seven exhibitions, all the artists were commended with Certificates of Participation. We utilized 7 online 3-D virtual art gallery exhibition spaces to make these works beautiful, accessible, and convenient to everyone, no matter their location or time zone. We benefitted hundreds of artists with these gorgeous virtual platforms. These shows presented in total, 261 artists representing up to 9 countries, with 249 works of art. We had attendance of over 500 Zoom attendees and physical visitors. This included gallery talks, tours and interviews with artists. These virtual exhibits facilitated artist promotion, exposure and networking. This year we had 17,607 unique visitors to our main international website. Artist career-building included website and social media promotion and 5 hard copy and digital exhibition catalogs published and distributed. We continued to be known to 16,100 artists clicking on our Google Ads via AdGrant used across the entire year. Our click-through-rate steadily increased to as high as 22.73% on some key words.
