Mission

The mission, duty and purpose of the Turner Syndrome Global Alliance, Inc. is to connect science, resources, and funding to the Turner Syndrome community.

990-EZ for the year ended December 31, 2025

Program accomplishments

  • TSGA continues to focus on funding research on Turner syndrome through the InsighTS Registry research. This is a collaborative project with a shared IRB working with clinic directors from multiple childrens hospitals across the country. In 2025, TSGA actively supported the recruitment of additional registry sites as well as shared patient friendly information to support patient recruitment. By the end of 2025, over 800 participants from 14 hospitals nationwide were enrolled, with additional hospitals onboarding to join the Registry. This year, the Registry has been highlighted in research abstracts and presented at professional conferences, and the Registry data is supporting multiple research initiatives. Results will be able to be quickly translated to care through the TSGA network of clinics, which TSGA continues to grow. In addition, TSGA funded summer research interns to support the InsighTS Registry with data confirmation and entry. Finally, TSGA supported an application to the NIH Rare Diseases Clinical Research Network (RDCRN) which was funded in the fall of 2025. This is an exciting collaborative effort that will change the future of care for all individuals with Turner syndrome.
    Expenses $17,600
  • TSGA collaborates with a network of more than 40 Turner syndrome clinics and serves as a resource for information on developing clinic services. We also help clinicians connect with other specialists in their field who are working with girls and women with Turner syndrome and develop multi-institutional collaborations.
  • TSGA maintains an active social media presence on Facebook that shares evidence-based information and resources to girls, women, and families living with Turner syndrome. This information has helped to dispel many of the preconceived notions of what life is like for those with Turner syndrome, providing hope to many families. We also maintain a website as a resource for information, especially for families with a new diagnosis.
    Expenses $324
