Mission

Support of fine arts and help for other non-profits.

990-EZ for the year ended August 31, 2023

Program accomplishments

  • The Moxart Concerto Program provides an opportunity for advanced amateur musicians to play a concerto with a fine orchestra. Moxart ran the entire Concerto Program in 2021-2022, despite lingering fears of COVID, which reduced the usual audience. This involved three orchestras and 10 soloists, with an approximate combined audience of 1000.
    Expenses $15,654
  • Moxart runs and Open Recital about 5 times annually. Anyone who wants to perform may attend and play. This event takes place in a small private livingroom. Usually we accommodate about eight players per recital with audience of 5- 20 people, but due to COVID we limited it to five players in 21-22 and discouraged audience. Because there were fewer players, we gave each of them more time, up to about 30 minutes each. This format was so popular that we may stay with it permanently. There is no charge for playing in this program although donations are welcome. All the premises and services are donated, so there are no expenses.
