The Moxart Concerto Program provides an opportunity for advanced amateur musicians to play a concerto with a fine orchestra. Moxart ran the entire Concerto Program in 2021-2022, despite lingering fears of COVID, which reduced the usual audience. This involved three orchestras and 10 soloists, with an approximate combined audience of 1000. 0 15654 Moxart runs and Open Recital about 5 times annually. Anyone who wants to perform may attend and play. This event takes place in a small private livingroom. Usually we accommodate about eight players per recital with audience of 5- 20 people, but due to COVID we limited it to five players in 21-22 and discouraged audience. Because there were fewer players, we gave each of them more time, up to about 30 minutes each. This format was so popular that we may stay with it permanently. There is no charge for playing in this program although donations are welcome. Form 990-EZ, Part I, Line 16 The other expenses are purchase of advertising are;bank fees; equipment;insurance; and regulatory submission fees I prepared the financials for form 990 in September 2023. At that time I thought my 990 provider did not have the tax forms I needed, so I put off filing until they did. During late December Moxart experienced a flurry of business problems. Several people dropped out of our 2024 Concerto Program and had to be replaced. The cost of the program is significant, and so finding 3 replacements was not easy and took a lot of time. It had to be done because we had already contracted with the orchestras. In my involvement and anxiety with the replacement work, I simply forgot about the form 990. As soon as the work was completed I remembered and began work on filing it. I am very sorry for this delay. I do try to comply with all regulations.
