THE ORGANIZATION'S MISSION IS TO PRESERVE AND PROMOTE INDIVIDUAL CIVIL RIGHTS AND CIVIL LIBERTIES AS GUARANTEED BY THE UNITED STATES AND UTAH CONSTITUTIONS AND THE CIVIL RIGHTS LAWS WITHIN THE STATE OF UTAH.
Program accomplishments
- THE AMERICAN CIVIL LIBERTIES UNION OF UTAH OPERATES THROUGH PUBLIC EDUCATION, COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIPS AND LOBBYING AT BOTH THE STATE AND LOCAL LEVELS TO ENSURE THE CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS AND FREEDOMS OF EVERYONE IN UTAH. OUR WORK IS BASED ON THE PROMISE OF RIGHTS PROVIDED IN THE STATE OF UTAH AND UNITED STATES CONSTITUTIONS. THE ACLU OF UTAH IS SUPPORTED BY NEARLY 5,000 UTAHNS THROUGH MEMBERSHIP DUES AND PRIVATE DONATIONS.Expenses $124,222
