TO FOSTER A MOVEMENT OF SYSTEMIC CHANGE TO ADVANCE EQUITY AND INCLUSION IN WINCHESTER AND BEYOND.
Program accomplishments
- OUR TOTAL PROGRAM EXPENSES WERE DIVIDED AMONG 20 DISTINCT COMMUNITY PROGRAMS THIS YEAR WHICH INCLUDED: EDUCATION AND TRAINING THROUGH FORUMS, SPEAKERS AND NFSJ WORKSHOPS AROUND ISSUES OF DIVERSITY, EQUITY AND INCLUSION, AND COMMUNITY BUILDING ACTIVITIES. THIS YEAR'S PROGRAMMING FOCUSED ON HONORING MLK VIA PERSONAL LEARNING DIALOGUES, CELEBRATING WOMEN'S HISTORY MONTH THROUGH A STEM-FOCUSED PANEL OF HONOREES, PRIDEFEST 2025, NATIVE AMERICAN ISSUES, SCHOOL AND YOUTH ORGANIZING, AND THE WORK OF ADDRESSING ANTI-RACISM AND WHITE PRIVILEGE AMONG BOTH STUDENTS AND ADULTS. WE ALSO HOSTED STUDENT INTERNS THROUGHOUT THE COURSE OF THE ENTIRE FY AND TARGETED DIFFICULT SUBJECTS CENTERED AROUND SOCIAL JUSTICE ISSUES AND MENTAL HEALTH. THESE PROGRAMS AND INITIATIVES REACHED OVER 1,050 RESIDENTS IN WINCHESTER AND SURROUNDING COMMUNITIES.Expenses $127,416 · grants $750 · revenue $500
