Offering individualized support and referrals to impacted individuals and their families, including connection to legal service providers and assistance understanding the impact of criminal convictions on those with non-citizenship status including legal relief options, ICE detention and travel-document procedures, deportation processes and immigration proceedings, and navigating prolonged detention. Producing and disseminating community education materials written resources, briefings, and workshops that explain complex immigration policies in culturally and linguistically accessible ways.
