Mission

NATCOL, Inc. promotes greater knowledge of natural food coloring with regulators, policymakers, and consumers.

990-EZ for the year ended December 31, 2025

Program accomplishments

  • Natcol Inc's first priority was to develop our relationship and recognition towards FDA. Two face to face meetings have been run at FDA in Washington and Natcol inc has shared several insights/documents/white papers to support the FDA initiative to phase out petroleum based colors. FDA kindly accepted to share with Natcol members a presentation on their CAP process and we are expecting soon to meet FDA again to discuss new developments, including their new guidance on Fruit & Vegetable juices for colors. Natcol Inc strategy stays aligned with Natcol global agreed strategy: we are focusing only on natural colors, its specifications and its benefits via a robust data driven approach and positive positioning/alternative to artificials. The past fiscal year has been a consolidation year for Natcol Inc: we have increased our membership from 6 to 9 members, we have run a second consumer survey in order to support further our positioning / communication in the US and started to deliver on our road map: we need to be more visible and more recognized in the US market: increase communication (web site, linkedin) but also direct contact with other associations or consortiums are strongly required. A first key milestone towards extended visibility will be our Natcol Inc/Natcol first participation at IFT where we will run a presentation on natural color regulatory development and consumer preference.
