GHRCs most significant programmatic achievement this year was the growth of its recovery meeting offerings. Through sustained outreach and collaboration with recovery community partners the Center expanded from 7 to 14 active weekly recovery meetings doubling the number of people who can access peer support attend recovery group meetings and pursue sobriety and healing from alcoholism opioid and narcotic addiction and other addictions including those related to sex gambling and food. This expansion reflects the Centers core commitment to providing a welcoming accessible space for all members of the recovery community. Recognizing that a stable physical home is essential to the Centers long-term mission the organization took meaningful steps during fiscal year 2025 to secure permanent premises. The Center retained a professional grantwriter to pursue funding for either the acquisition of its current facility or the lease of suitable alternative space.
