Mission

To protect, preserve, restore and sustain the historic theatre resources of Los Angeles County through advocacy and education.

990-EZ for the year ended December 31, 2025

Program accomplishments

  • The primary focus this year was getting back to basics with advocacy and working on lingering projects with partners and historic theatre resources. In 2019, the historic Star neon sign came in to our possession in partnership with the city for restoration and re-installation. COVID derailed the project due to the fundraising needs of the project. The Star restoration was relaunched in 2025 and has two of the three scheduled phases completed. Fundraising campaigns will take the forefront in 2026 to replenish the general fund so that the organization can work more closely on restoration and protection of our resources, ultimately fulfilling our original mission pillars.
    Expenses $19,980
