THE CALIFORNIA SOCIETY OF INDUSTRIAL MEDICINE (CSIMS) IS DEDICATED TO ASSISTING ITS MEMBERS TO EXCEL IN THE PRACTICE OF OCCUPATIONAL MEDICINE SO AS TO PROVIDE THE ACCURATE EVALUATION AND TREATMENT OF CALIFORNIA'S INJURED WORKERS.
Program accomplishments
- CSIMS PROMOTES EDUCATION OF MEMBERSHIP TO HELP MEMBERS EXCEL IN PRACTICE AND HELP INJURED WORKERS. THE ORGANIZATION ACCOMPLISHES THIS WITH AN ACTIVE PUBLIC PROGRAM FOR POLICY MAKERS THROUGH LEGISLATIVE AND REGULATORY REPRESENTATION AND EDUCATION OF MEMBERS.
- CONVENTIONS - IN 2024 CSIMS CALLED "CSIMS TRICON" ITS ANNUAL EDUCATIONAL CONFERENCE RELATED TO WORKERS COMPENSATION AND THE INTERSECTION OF MEDICINE AND LAW. THIS CONFERENCE BRINGS TOGETHER PROFESSIONALS IN THE WORKMAN'S COMPENSATION, LEGAL AND MEDICAL FIELDS TO PROMOTE INNOVATION AT THE INTERSECTION OF LAW, MEDICINE AND WORK RELATED INJURIES.
