THE ACADEMY OF BREASTFEEDING MEDICINE (ABM) IS A WORLDWIDE ORGANIZATION OF PHYSICIANS SPECIALIZING IN THE PROMOTION, PROTECTION AND SUPPORT OF BREASTFEEDING AND HUMAN LACTATION. ABM PROVIDES PHYSICIAN EDUCATION, FACILITATES OPTIMAL BREASTFEEDING PRACTICES AND ENCOURAGES THE EXCHANGE OF INFORMATION AMONG ORGANIZATIONS.
