Program accomplishments
- CONSUMER COMMUNICATION/EDUCATION - ASHA'S WEBSITES RECEIVE APPROXIMATELY 2.2 MILLION VISITORS EACH YEAR. THE WEBSITES AND EDUCATIONAL CONFERENCES ARE THE PRIMARY MEANS OF EDUCATING PATIENTS, PARTNERS, PROFESSIONALS AND PARTNER ORGANIZATIONS THROUGHOUT THE UNITED STATES. EACH WEBSITE IS REGULARLY UPDATED TO ENSURE ACCURACY AND CLEAR, NON-BIASED INFORMATION ON SEXUAL AND REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH. ASHA PLANS AND CONDUCTS EDUCATIONAL CONFERENCES ANNUALLY WITH PARTNER ORGANIZATIONS. ASHA ALSO RESPONDS TO REQUESTS FROM MEDIA SOURCES LOOKING FOR CLARIFICATION, QUOTES AND MORE. ACTIVITIES PREVIOUSLY CATEGORIZED UNDER HEALTH POLICY ARE NOW REFLECTED WITHIN THE BROADER SCOPE OF CONSUMER COMMUNICATIONS/EDUCATION, ENSURING CONTINUITY OF THESE VITAL INITIATIVES WHILE LEVERAGING SYNERGIES BETWEEN THE TWO AREAS. IN FISCAL 2025, ASHA BEGAN OPERATING AS A COVERED ENTITY UNDER THE FEDERAL 340B DRUG PRICING PROGRAM TO EXPAND EDUCATION AND OUTREACH SERVICES NATIONWIDE, WITH PARTICULAR EMPHASIS ON UNDERSERVED POPULATIONS. ASHA FUNDS PUBLIC HEALTH EDUCATION AND OUTREACH ACTIVITIES THROUGH 340B PROGRAM SAVINGS, INCLUDING PATIENT EDUCATION RELATING TO STI AND HIV PREVENTION AND TESTING, AND NAVIGATION SERVICES THAT CONNECT INDIVIDUALS TO PHARMACY BENEFITS AND COMMUNITY HEALTH RESOURCES. ASHA DEVELOPS AND DISTRIBUTES CULTURALLY APPROPRIATE HEALTH LITERACY MATERIALS THROUGH CLINICAL SITES, COMMUNITY CENTERS, AND PARTNER ORGANIZATIONS. ALL 340B PROGRAM SAVINGS ARE REINVESTED EXCLUSIVELY IN EXPANDING HEALTHCARE SERVICES, REDUCING MEDICATION COSTS FOR ELIGIBLE PATIENTS, AND SUPPORTING PUBLIC HEALTH EDUCATION CONSISTENT WITH THE ORGANIZATION'S EXEMPT PURPOSES.Expenses $761,395 · revenue $491,599

THE NATIONAL CERVICAL CANCER COALITION (NCCC) WORKS TO EDUCATE PEOPLE COMMUNITY BY COMMUNITY AND VOLUNTEERS ARE AT THE HEART OF THAT EFFORT. OUR VOLUNTEER LOCAL CHAPTER LEADERS-MANY OF WHOM ARE CERVICAL CANCER SURVIVORS-ARE PASSIONATE ABOUT SEEKING OUT OPPORTUNITIES TO EDUCATE PEOPLE THROUGH HEALTH FAIRS, AWARENESS WALK/RUNS, AND EDUCATION AND FUNDRAISING EVENTS.
