Program accomplishments

  • In 2024 Web of Life Field (WOLF) School provided excellent environmental education, science, marine conservation, and outdoor school programs to approximately 9,621 students, up from 6,073 last year and 3,254 teachers and chaperones up from 1,068last year. WOLF School brought high quality outdoor environmental education programming to more students and summer campers and grew our program by over 3,500 youth this year, as well as building our hands-on outdoor science education increasingly stronger as we added more professional educators and continued developing our current staff. WOLF continues to operate four full time environmental education campuses during the school year-- Camp Loma Mar in Pescadero, CA, Monte Toyon in Aptos, Camp Arroyo in Livermore, and Camp SEA Lab in Aptos. WOLF operates four distinct educational summer camps during the schools off season in the summer--Summer Nature Day Camp in Aptos, and our Monterey-based Camp SEA Lab day camp and overnight sailing and marine conservation camp, Voyage Seaward and Camp SEA Lab overnight camp located in Carmel. WOLF School is grateful for its individual donors and for the ongoing partnership and support from the Friends of Camp SEA Lab, East Bay Regional Parks Foundation, The Taylor Family Foundation, and East Bay Regional Parks, all of which generously supported WOLF School, our students, and WOLF School programs and development during 2024.
