Mission
BALEO seeks to provide leadership development opportunities in the San Francisco Bay Area. We aim to provide education opportunities and prepare Bay Area residents as they seek to take on leadership roles in their respective communities.
Program accomplishments
- In 2025 BALEO advanced its mission by convening Latino elected and appointed officials and emerging leaders through its Leadership Summit and Awards Reception in Napa Valley and a policy briefing held at Stanford University. These programs provided workshops and discussions on public leadership governance and key policy issues including immigration and economic development. The policy briefing brought together elected and appointed officials as well as leaders from the nonprofit and business communities fostering cross-sector collaboration and dialogue. BALEO also recognized outstanding leaders through its awards program strengthened regional collaboration among policymakers expanded its membership network and created opportunities for leadership development and civic engagement. Additionally BALEO secured philanthropic support to sustain programming and enhance its organizational capacity.Expenses $45,269
