Program accomplishments

  • Radical Extremism in the United States - (Research & Content) In summer 2024, the organization initiated a self-directed study focused on radical extremism in the United States. Substantively, this allowed engagement with a complex, multi-scalar domain; methodologically, it served as an early testbed for approaches later formalized in the forensic framework. In 2025, this work advanced through a structured research collaboration with a team of social scientists affiliated with BRAIN.org. The collaboration deepened content research and refined analytical framing. As the forensic framework matured, this research team re-engaged to populate the tool with domain-specific context and provide feedback on its design and utility. The project now functions both as a substantive research effort and as a proving ground for the organizations broader analytical infrastructure.
    Expenses $122,549
  • The Forensic Framework & Digital Platform - (Core Infrastructure) The forensic framework represents the organizations central methodological investment focused on the analysis and interrogation of complex entangled problems. Initial work began in summer 2024 with conceptual design rather than implementation, with the goal of creating a reusable analytical framework applicable across domains and scales. Following receipt of IRS nonprofit status and seed funding in late 2024, the organization moved into active development. In 2025, the framework was expanded into a generalizable digital platform, bringing together the research team and a dedicated software development team. Development has been funded through seed resources and represents the organizations largest expenditure to date. This investment was made deliberately, with the understanding that the platform would serve as shared infrastructure across projects, a foundation for partnerships, and a gateway to future external funding. The platform continues to advance, with collaborators actively using it to test assumptions, populate content, and provide iterative feedback. It is now positioned as a core asset around which future work can coalesce. It is currently being used for the McKees Rocks project as well.
    Expenses $122,548
  • McKees Rocks, Pennsylvania (Applied Community-Need Work) The third major strand of work began in summer 2024 with pro bono engagement for a nonprofit foundation in McKees Rocks, Pennsylvania. This effort provided an opportunity to contribute the organizations emerging practice in a real-world, community-need context. In summer 2025, the organization assembled a team under the auspices of the OzHse Group to further advance this work, funded through seed resources. This led to the submission of a Request for Proposal to expand the projects scope. The proposal was awarded $100,000 in funding, marking the organizations first significant externally funded project. Work on the expanded project began December 1, 2025, with an anticipated duration of eight months. This trajectoryfrom pro bono engagement to seed-funded advancement, to externally funded workhas provided an important proof of concept for the organizations approach and a viable pathway from exploratory work to sustained engagement.
    Expenses $122,548
