Mission
Conservation of forests and rivers and building sustainable communities in the Coast Range region of Oregon.
Program accomplishments
- Conservation advocacy for marine biodiversity and resilient communities. We conduct public education events, support ocean conservation and play a key role in the Oregon Marine Reserve Partnership (OMRP). Coast Range Association staff play a leading role in the OMRP Commuincations Program.Expenses $32,156
- Private Forests & Climate Education: Our program focus addresses the political economy of industrial forests and the use of financially driven forest management. Significant research occurred into the back-end financial system of forest owning Real Estate Investment Trusts.Expenses $13,847
- Public Lands Management: We monitor, support and provide input into the USDA Forest Service management of the Siuslaw National Forest. We monitor and support the Bureau of Land Management forest management in the Coast Range region.Expenses $51,381
