Program accomplishments

  • During 2024, the market hosted a weekly (summer) or bi-weekly (winter) farmers' market promoting and supporting local agriculture, farmers, and food producers. We provided outlets to the greater Easthampton community for the distribution, sale, or donation of food and farm products. We also fostered appreciation for and understanding of the importance of local farming, agriculture, and food producers through engagement with members of the public. We provided charitable services locally and regionally through access to nutritious food for people in need, through promotion of the Massachusetts SNAP and HIP programs. In addition, we increase the market's charitable efforts by offering a SNAP matching token program.
