(1) Community Outreach to educate on the interconnectivity of systems, and impact structural and systemic change in the areas of criminal, electoral, and economic justice in the United States; and (2) Policy Reform and Direct Lobbying through grassroots movements that engage in direct lobbying at the local, state, and federal levels by collaborating with community groups, disseminating resources, advocating for change, and coordinating activities that shape the public vote.
Program accomplishments
- The Justice Workshop the organization advanced its mission by launching an educational campaign focused on proportional representation and ranked-choice voting. The organization engaged with subject matter experts, community stakeholders, and political analysts to explore the feasibility and impact of electoral reform within our local context. Activities included public forums, educational materials, policy research, and strategic planning sessions intended to raise awareness and build broad-based support for electoral systems that better reflect the diversity and preferences of the electorate.Expenses $35,000
