Mission
Hope for Myanmar primarily focuses on raising funds and delivering humanitarian aid to Myanmar displaced people
Program accomplishments
- In 2025, we mobilized more than 40 volunteers to raise awareness of the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Myanmar, including conflict, displacement, and the severe hardships faced by affected communities, particularly in Chin State and western Sagaing Region. Through their outreach and fundraising efforts, we generated resources to provide assistance to refugees, internally displaced persons (IDPs), and other vulnerable communities in these areas. With the funds raised, we provided essential food items, clothing, and shelter materials to more than 6,000 displaced and vulnerable families across various locations in Chin State and western Sagaing Region. These efforts helped families meet their immediate needs and cope with the difficult conditions caused by ongoing conflict and displacement. We also conducted community meetings and awareness sessions on the risks posed by landmines, unexploded ordnance (UXO), and unexploded artillery shells in villages across Chin State and western Sagaing Region. In addition, first-aid training was provided to community members to strengthen their ability to respond to injuries and emergencies. To support communities daily mobility and access to essential services, we helped repair village roads damaged by landslides, improving transportation and local connectivity. We also supported the repair and rehabilitation of schools and learning spaces in Chin State, helping children continue their education despite the challenging circumstances.Expenses $764,972
