Program accomplishments
- AWARE's DV/SA services include emergency safe shelter, 24 hour crisis line response, in person and remote safety planning, legal advocacy and court accompaniment, 24 hour hospital response, children's advocacy and groups, child and adult trauma counseling, transitional housing, support groups for adults and a variety of housing advocacy and programs to ensure long term stability.Expenses $2,470,881 · grants $74,953 · revenue $225,843

- AWARE's Juneau choice & accountability program (JCAP) works with men who have used abusive or coercive tactics with their intimate partners. Most of the referrals to the program come from the court system after a domestic violence conviction, or are part of recommendations from a probation officer.
