Program accomplishments

  • Our organization's mission is to build Community by providing a place to engage with local farmers, producers, and artisans. As a member of the Washington State Farmers Market Association, we do this while maintaining a minimum number of farmers, and keeping a balanced slate of vendors who all grow or make their products here in Washington. For the 2024 season we held 22 Saturday Markets and 1 Holiday Market in Woodinville, WA, supporting a roster of 120 vendors where each week we had an average of 37 featured. Our event was attended by almost 23,000 customers, who spent a total of over $490,000 with our small, local businesses. We facilitated federal and state food access spending of $2,575, and offered an additional $830 from our own accounting. We provided community connection by hosting a nonprofit booth each week for local and mission-aligned organizations, and programming such as live music, a kids activity, and chef demos.
