Mission
THE WASHINGTON STATE HEALTH INFORMATION MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATION IS A NON-PROFIT ASSOCIATION OF PROFESSIONALS ENGAGED IN HEALTH INFORMATION MANAGEMENT PROVIDING SUPPORT TO MEMBERS AND STRENGTHENING THE INDUSTRY AND PROFESSION.
Program accomplishments
- WASHINGTON STATE HEALTH INFORMATION MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATION IS ORGANIZED TO SERVE THOSE RESPONSIBLE FOR OR INTERESTED IN THE MANAGEMENT OF HEALTH INFORMATION AND USERS OF HEALTH INFORMATION. THE ASSOCIATION DOES SO BY DESIGNING, IMPLEMENTING AND EXPANDING PROGRAMS THAT SUPPORT AND ENHANCE THE ABILITIES OF THOSE WHO WORK WITH HEALTH INFORMATION; AND BY INFLUENCING, SUPPORTING AND ENHANCING EXCELLENCE IN HEALTH INFORMATION FOR THE BENEFIT OF PATIENTS, PROVIDERS, AND SOCIETY.
