TO PROVIDE A MECHANISM TO SUPPORT COMMUINITIES OF DEVELOPERS OF INTEROPERABLE SCALABLE OPEN SOURCE FILE SYSTEMS, AS WELL AS TO INCENTIVIZE THE DEVELOPMENT, TESTING AND PRODUCTIZATION OF SCALABLE OPEN SOURCE FILE SYSTEMS.
Program accomplishments
- EVENT AND EDUCATION: OPENSFS HOSTED THEIR ANNUAL LUSTRE USER GROUP CONFERENCE (LUG). THIS FORMAT PROVIDED IT LEADERS AN OPPORTUNITY TO LEARN AND DISCUSS DEVELOPMENTS OF THE LUSTRE TECHNOLOGY.
- TECHNOLOGY DEVELOPMENT: THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES A COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT OF DOCUMENTATION, TRAINING, TOOLS, AND OUTREACH IN ORDER TO GUIDE THE STABILIZATION, SUPPORT, AND MATURATION OF THE LUSTRE FILE SYSTEM.
