Mission
Love And Puppy Paws Dog Rescue (LAPP Dog Rescue) was formed to help alleviate the stress of city and county animal control facilities around South and Central Texas. We accept dogs into our rescue that are in overpopulated animal control facilities and are at risk of euthanasia due to space restraints, behavioral issues, and/or medical issues. We also accept stray and street dogs into our program to decrease the number of dogs surrendered to overcapacity animal control facilities.
Program accomplishments
- Provide supplies such as kennels, enrichment items, flea/tick/heartworm prevention, vaccinations, dewormer and microchips to rescue dogs in foster homes while they are preparing for adoption.Expenses $14,627
- Provide medical care to dogs accepted into the rescue that includes spay/neuter, heartworm treatments, orthopedic surgeries, vaccinations, and other necessary vet care.Expenses $32,875
- Arrange transportation for dogs that we accept into the rescue from animal control facilities, cover boarding costs for rescue dogs when foster home is unavailable, cover training costs for rescue dogs in our rescue program, and pay for other miscellaneous service costs for rescue management software, transport supplies, and merchant fees required to process adoption payments.Expenses $6,159
