THE FOUNDATION SUPPORTS GREATER AUTONOMY FOR BURYATIA, AND THE PROMOTION OF THE LANGUAGE AND CULTURE OF THE BURYATS. ORGANIZED TO ENCOURAGE AWARENESS OF THE REGION AND ETHNIC MINORITY.

- IN 2024, THE FREE BURYATIA FOUNDATION CONTINUED PROVIDING LEGAL GUIDANCE AND INFORMATIONAL SUPPORT TO INDIVIDUALS SEEKING TO AVOID FORCED PARTICIPATION IN RUSSIA'S WAR IN UKRAINE. THE FOUNDATION DISSEMINATED UPDATED LEGAL RESOURCES, CONNECTED INDIVIDUALS WITH QUALIFIED LEGAL PROFESSIONALS, AND PROVIDED CASE-SPECIFIC CONSULTATIONS TO CONSCRIPTS AND THEIR FAMILIES. THESE EFFORTS FOCUSED ON LAWFUL CONTRACT TERMINATION, CONSCIENTIOUS OBJECTION, AND HUMAN-RIGHTS-BASED PROTECTIONS UNDER RUSSIAN AND INTERNATIONAL LAW.Expenses $8,870
