Program accomplishments

  • The Restoring Ivy Collective Virtual Support Groups have provided 60 survivors of sex trafficking and exploitation during the 2023 year. The support groups have functioned as a space for survivors to be given topics pertaining to the trauma of sex trafficking to hold discussions about the issues unique to survivors and to allow for bonds to be created in ways that have rarely been supported before. The groups are facilitated by survivors and thus the environment is created in tandem with the participants and they have built close social relationships with each other because of these groups. Survivors finding connections as mothers friends etc. has helped them to reach goals including 6 survivors within our virtual community space enrolling in higher education in the Spring of 2024.
