Program accomplishments

  • AISDG produced the inaugural Habibi Tech Summit on August 30, 2025 at Industry City in Brooklyn, NY. The Summit was a 12-hour mission-aligned convening dedicated to elevating Muslim-led innovation in artificial intelligence, technology, and ethics. The event brought together approximately 1,000 attendees, 50 speakers across 4 stages, and more than 25 exhibitor booths. Programming included keynotes on responsible AI development, panels on ethics and policy, technical workshops, and structured networking sessions designed to foster collaboration between technologists, founders, policymakers, and community leaders. By creating a dedicated, accessible venue for this community to convene, the Summit advanced AISDG's mission of building inclusive AI ecosystems and seeding cross-sector dialogue on the ethical trajectories of emerging technology.
