AN INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC SOCIETY WHOSE MEMBERS CONSIST OF SCIENTISTS, MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS, EDUCATORS, ADMINISTRATORS, COMMUNICATORS AND OTHERS WHO ARE INTERESTED IN INCREASING THE UNDERSTANDING OF THE ROLE OF DIETARY FATTY ACIDS AND LIPIDS IN HEALTH.
Program accomplishments
- ISSFAL'S BIENNIAL INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE IS HELD TO DISCUSS THE EFFECTS OF DIETARY FATS, OILSAND LIPIDS IN THE DISEASE PROCESS. ISSFAL MAKES FOUR TYPES OF AWARDS WHICH ARE AIMED ATENCOURAGING INVESTIGATORS WORKING IN SCIENTIFIC FIELDS OF RELEVANCE TO ISSFAL'S CORE INTERESTS.ADDITIONALLY, ISSFAL PROVIDES SCHOLARSHIPS TO A NUMBER OF NEW INVESTIGATORS TO ATTEND THECONFERENCE AND OFFERS A RESEARCH SCHOLARSHIP BIENNIALLY TO A QUALIFIED CANDIDATE.Expenses $306,861 · revenue $168,340
