  • Grupo Cajolá in North America financially supports the programs of Grupo Cajolá in Guatemala. The largest program is their preschool. In 2025 the school provided Reggio Emilia based experiential learning to 33 children. There are 4 teachers, a documentalist, a cook and her helper. When the children reach public school their preparation is highly regarded by the public school teachers. Serving a healthy snack and nutritious lunch along with vitamins and nutritional counseling for the parents helps combat Cajola's 55% child malnutrition statistic. The school is providing employment to those 7 people, an accomplishment in this primarily agricultural but poverty stricken community.
