Mission

Our mission is to provide nonviolent direct action training, campaign support, and community organizing tools to support Indigenous communities taking action in defense of their homelands.

990 for the year ended December 31, 2025

Program accomplishments

  • LANDBACK: The IP3 Landback Project, also known as The Farm at Coyote Crossing is a 4.7 acre farmland property in the heart of Chinook Territory, Portland, Oregon, and represents our collective return to Traditional Ecological Knowledge and Indigenous Land Practices. This space serves as the primary IP3 headquarters, training space, retreat center, and as a community space to Learn, Grow, Heal, and Connect.
    Expenses $112,727
  • TRAINING & ACTION FUND: The IP3 Training & Action Fund is a resource for IP3 trainers, staff, and community members to skill up in all aspects of Indigenous Sovereignty and organizing that advances Indigenous communitys ability to exercise our inherent right to environmental justice, cultural livelihood, and self-determination. We provide these resources and trainings at no or low cost to offset the financial barriers that historically keep Indigenous communities from participation in our own unique social justice campaigns.
    Expenses $14,060
  • TRAINING FOR TRAINERS: Bi-annual workshops that focus on two of our primary training tracks, including Nonviolent Direct Action, Creative Resistance, Blockades, Climbing, and Kayaktivism. Topics covered are based on need and as requested by IP3 network trainers.
    Expenses $1,283
  • PLANNING RETREAT: A bi-annual retreat where IP3 network trainers, board members, staff and community gather to collaborate on nonviolent direct action best practices, procedures, and strategies to meet the needs of Indigenous communities taking action in defense of their homelands.
  • ACTION CAMP: An annual four-day camp style workshop for leaders from tribes across the US and Canada where training, collaboration, and support services are available. Training tracks include Nonviolent Direct Action, Creative Resistance, Blockades, Climbing, and Kayaktivism.
