Mission

Provide community services to low income individuals

990 for the year ended June 30, 2025

Program accomplishments

  • The food pantry evolved it's client choice model and started using the 'Fresh App' to have participants make reserved appointments for them to come into the pantry and shop for groceries. The pantry has been designed to look more like a grocery store than a pantry. The food is still free, but the changes allow for more of a grocery buying experience affording the participants to feel more dignity in a situation which many feel embarrassed about.
    Expenses $1,214,302
  • Denver Inner City Parish also offers community programs that focus on servicing local seniors to prevent social isolation and other risk factors for seniors, and providing resources through management of a community resource center. Resource navigation services are provided to assist community members in accessing needed services.
    Expenses $316,773
  • The Veggie Rx program birthed an off-shoot program called the Health Rangers program that will have it's 2nd year of summer camp and we are planning to launch an after-school program in the next fiscal year provided we have proper funding.
    Expenses $119,895
