Mission
Ensure every Nebraskans' voice is heard in public decision making processes, whether that is in the halls of legislative bodies or at the ballot box.
Program accomplishments
- In 2025 we worked to support passed initiatives on paid sick leave and minimum wage. For both projects, we helped build a coalition, supported leaders with lived experience, and worked to advocate for support in the state legislature. We also joined with other Nebraska organizations to explore and then support a new ballot initiative campaign to protect the ballot initiative process from legislative overreach.Expenses $463,568 · grants $44,500
