Program accomplishments

  • The major accomplishment this fiscal year was the completion of a research and policy project that culminated in a field-facing manuscript that was released in 2024. The K12 Research for Equity Hub is a multi-year actionable research initiative generating evidence to advance policy dialogue on K12 education accountability and assessment systems. This study entitled Ecosystem Level Predictors of Student Flourishing in Diverse Student Populations explores how 8 research-grounded human flourishing design principles predict over 1,800 diverse students well-being, academic attitudes and academic outcomes, providing a foundation for a more equitable and inclusive educational assessment and accountability system. This project was funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and the Walton Family Foundation and managed by EduDream, a Latina-founded, woman-owned research consulting firm inspiring transformation within education by bringing community voice and rigorous research together.
