Mission
TO EDUCATE AND EMPOWER FAMILIES TO SOLVE THEIR FAMILY LAW MATTERS EFFICIENTLY, COST-EFFECTIVELY, AND IN A TIMELY MANNER. CHANGE FOR JUSTICE WAS FOUNDED ON THE BELIEF THAT ACCESS TO THE JUSTICE SYSTEM IS A RIGHT, NOT A PRIVILEGE, AND THAT THIS RIGHT SHOULD NOT BE COMPROMISED ESPECIALLY WHEN IT COMES TO LEGAL MATTERS THAT CONCERN THE FAMILY. CHANGE FOR JUSTICE SERVES AS A COMMUNITY ASSET FOR ALL FAMILIES TO MAKE THE DIVORCE PROCESS MORE MANAGEABLE AND LESS EMOTIONALLY TRAUMATIC.
Program accomplishments
- CHANGE FOR JUSTICE PLANS TO CONDUCT RESEARCH AND ANALYZE CURRENT PROBLEMS AND INEFFICIENCIES IN THE FAMILY COURT SYSTEM, AND WILL USE THE RESULTS OF THIS RESEARCH TO DEVELOP EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS AND SOLUTIONS TO ADDRESS THESE INEFFICIENCIES. CHANGE FOR JUSTICE'S PRIMARY ACTIVITY WILL BE TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC ABOUT THE FAMILY COURT SYSTEM TO EMPOWER INDIVIDUALS TO MAKE INFORMED DECISIONS FOR THEIR FAMILIES. CHANGE FOR JUSTICE ALSO INTENDS TO RAISE AWARENESS OF IDENTIFIED PROBLEMS OR CONCERNS WITH THE FAMILY COURT SYSTEM BY EDUCATING INDIVIDUALS ABOUT THE CURRENT STATE OF THE LAW, AND CHANGES TO THE LAW THAT IMPACT PARENTAL RIGHT.Expenses $396
