Mission
TO PROMOTE THE SOCIAL WELFARE OF THE UNION MARKET COMMUNITY IN THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA BY BRINGING ABOUT CIVIC BETTERMENT AND IMPROVING THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OF THE AREA FOR ITS RESIDENTS AND BUSINESSES.
Program accomplishments
- Continual operations in the promotion of the social welfare of the Union Market Community in Washington, DC. A Safe & Clean program was instituted for various cleaning services, i.e., litter removal, graffiti removal, sidewalk power washing, and safety by employing "safety ambassadors" that focus on maintaining a highly visible presence in the district and engage with the public to provide assistance, directions and recommendations.Expenses $320,045 · revenue $307,695
