Program accomplishments

  • Full Circle Farm Therapeutic Horsemanship (FCFTH) is a program that uses equine assisted activities and education to improve and enhance the wellness (physical and mental) and knowledge of its clients. The program utilizes both mounted and unmounted activities to reach individual or group goals and to ensure that each client attains the highest benefits from the program. The program provides aid for a wide range of physical, mental health, behavioral, and/or learning disabilities. Through mounted activities it is seen that clients are able to physically enhance strength, flexibility, and balance while mentally the benefits of improved trust, confidence, and emotional support are gained. Unmounted activities or Equine-Assisted Services (EAS) is an experiential learning approach that promotes the development of life skills for educational, professional, and personal goals. Additionally, the program offers vocational opportunities for those over the age of fourteen who are interested in learning more about horse care. FCFTH works closely with individual riders, veterans, and school groups, including trauma, vocational and wellness programs, and other community businesses who want to experience the benefits of such a diverse and helpful program.
