TO BE A CONSENSUS BASED ORGANIZATION WHOSE MISSION IS TO EDUCATE THE CITIZENS OF NORTH CAROLINA AND TO ADVOCATE FOR STATE FUNDING RELATED THERETO, THE NEED TO CONSERVE AND PROTECT NORTH CAROLINA'S LAND AND WATERS, FOR THE PURPOSE OF MAKING THE STATE A BETTER PLACE TO LIVE, WORK, AND DO BUSINESS FOR ALL.
