Program accomplishments

  • THE DECISION TO WIND UP WAS MADE TO BEST ADVANCE THE ORGANIZATION'S EXEMPT PURPOSES WITH ITS REMAINING ASSETS BASED ON THE LOSS OF LEADERSHIP AND THE DECLINING ABILITY OF THE ORGANIZATION TO OPERATE ITS CHARITABLE FISCAL SPONSORSHIP PROGRAM IN A REASONABLY VIABLE MANNER. THE BOARD DETERMINED THAT THE REMAINING UNRESTRICTED ASSETS WOULD BEST BE UTILIZED BY ANOTHER PUBLIC CHARITY WITH GREATER RESOURCES TO MAXIMIZE THE IMPACT OF THOSE REMAINING ASSETS. DUE DILIGENCE AND DISCUSSIONS BEGAN WITH SUCH OTHER CHARITY, WHICH WAS IDENTIFIED AS THE TARGETED RECIPIENT OF REMAINING ASSETS AFTER THE ORGANIZATION'S DEBTS AND LIABILITIES HAD ALL BEEN PAID, CONTINGENT ON THE OAG'S WAIVER OF OBJECTIONS TO THIS DISSOLUTION PLAN. THE ORGANIZATION UNDERTOOK AN ORDERLY WIND DOWN WHILE WAITING FOR THE OAG WAIVER, WHICH HAD NOT YET BEEN RECEIVED IN THE REPORTING YEAR. FINAL DUE DILIGENCE AND NEGOTIATIONS WITH THE TARGETED RECIPIENT CHARITY WILL TAKE PLACE AFTER RECEIPT OF THE OAG WAIVER.
    Expenses $256,593
