Our Mission is to empower the disenfranchised with the resources to improve their lives.
Program accomplishments
- Hand Up Project operates a public food assistance program serving indi viduals and families experiencing food insecurity in the Portland, Ore on area. The organization provides a shopping-style pantry, allowing c lients to select food staples that meet their personal and cultural di etary needs. In addition to food distribution, Hand Up Project offers nutrition education through monthly videos, recipes, and a newsletter. The organization also connects clients to additional resources such as transportation assistance, hygiene supplies, and referrals to health a and social services.
