Mission

YOUNG GENERATION MOVEMENT BELIEVES THAT EVERY CHILD DESERVES LOVE, RESPECT, AND A SAFE/SUPPORTIVE, AND NURTURING ENVIRONMENT. WE ARE COMMITTED TO PROVIDING THIS THROUGH EDUCATIONAL SUPPORT, FINANCIAL LITERACY, HEALTH, AND WELLNESS COACHING, AND ENCOURAGEMENT TO THE YOUTH OF ALL AGES TO PREVENT AND ASSIST IN ALL OF LIFE'S CHANGES.

  • One Week Summer Leadership Camp: Conducted a week-long camp focused on developing leadership skills among youth participants.

  • Community Outreach: At the Young Generation Movement, our commitment to community service and youth empowerment has yielded remarkable accomplishments. We've organized giveback events on Mother's Day and Father's Day, offering companionship and support to senior citizens. Our Friendsgiving Produce Giveaway promotes healthy eating and strengthens community bonds by distributing fresh produce. Through our Back to School Drive, we ensure local children have the tools they need for academic success, while our Holiday Giveaway provides essential items to families in need. Our Beautification Days at the YG Community Park enhance its beauty and functionality, thanks to the efforts of our members and volunteers. We're especially proud of launching the Swapping the Tools program, teaching youth construction skills as an alternative to violence. Acquiring property for the YGM T.R.A.P House underscores our dedication to providing a safe haven for vulnerable youth.
