Mission
Saving Great Animals rescues, rehabilitates, and re-homes dogs with an ethical and respectful approach of care, regardless of breed, health, or behavior. We strive to provide an excellent experience for our fosters, volunteers, and adopters and are dedicated to creating a community of responsible pet owners. We promise to make careful matches between dogs and adopters, to break the cycle of abandonment, and ensure that dogs do not re-enter the shelter system.
Program accomplishments
- In 2025, Saving Great Animals rescued 460 dogs. Each dog was placed in a foster home and provided with medical care, spay/neuter surgery, vaccinations, and microchips. All dogs received behavioral assessments and training if needed. We worked with over 100 foster families and finalized 435 adoptions, ensuring that each dog was matched to the right home. Our team of over 300 dedicated active volunteers, including fosters, helped to transport dogs, run adoption events, and provide care for dogs going through rehabilitation.Expenses $774,416 · grants $6,249 · revenue $202,320
