Mission
BROOKLINK'S MISSION IS TO EQUIP GLOBAL CHRISTIAN LEADERS TO FULFULL JESUS' GREAT COMMISSION.
Program accomplishments
- 2024 WAS A FRUITFUL YEAR AS WE SAID "YES" TO OPEN DOORS TO EQUIP GLOBAL CHRISTIAN LEADERS AS THEY FULFILLED THE GREAT COMMISSION. FOUNDER LEE HEYWARD CONTINUED HIS SERVICE AS FULL-TIME CEO, LEADING STAFF, FACILITATORS, BOARD MEMBERS, AND GLOBAL PARTNERS TO EXPLORE AND REMAIN GROUNDED IN BROOKLINK'S MISSION. LEE AND OUR INDUSTRIOUS BOARD OF DIRECTORS FURTHER DEVELOPED, SHARED, AND PROMOTED VISION 2033, BROOKLINK'S TEN-YEAR ROADMAP. OUR FAITHFUL TEAM OF FACILITATORS CONDUCTED AND PARTICIPATED IN INTERNATIONAL TRAINING IN LIBERIA, NEPAL, INDIA, SINGAPORE, UGANDA, RWANDA, CZECHIA, LAOS, CAMBODIA, AND VIETNAM. BROOKLINK CONTINUED NURTURING RELATIONSHIPS WITH GLOBAL PARTNERS IN OTHER COUNTRIES (ROMANIA, CANADA, AND CHINA) VIA ZOOM.DOMESTICALLY, BROOKLINK ACCEPTED INVITATIONS TO PREACH AND TEACH AT CHURCHES IN ALABAMA, WISCONSIN, AND ILLINOIS. OUR SUCCESSION VISION PLAN MOVED ALONG AS STAFF AND THE BOARD ENGAGED IN ROBUST DISCUSSIONS TO ENSURE THE MINISTRY OF BROOKLINK CONTINUES. WE HELD MANY MEETINGS ABOUT HIRING A NEW EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR AND WHAT THAT WOULD LOOK LIKE. OUR GOAL IS TO ONBOARD OUR NEW ED IN THE FALL OF 2025.RECOGNIZING MANY OF OUR DONORS ARE NEARING OR ARE IN RETIREMENT, WE ACTUALIZED OUR VISION TO DRAW A YOUNGER AUDIENCE INTO THE MISSION OF BROOKLINK. WE HOSTED A VALENTINES DAY EVENT WHERE 15 COUPLES ENJOYED GETTING TO KNOW LOCAL BROOKLINK LEADERS BETTER THROUGH SHARING INTERNATIONAL STORIES OF HOW BROOKLINK TRAINING IS EQUIPPING GLOBAL LEADERS. SEVERAL OF THESE COUPLES ARE REGULAR DONORS AND INVITE THEIR YOUNG COUPLE FRIENDS TO BROOKLINK EVENTS.WE CONTINUED MONTHLY COMMUNICATIONS WITH 800 SUBSCRIBERS WHO RECEIVE OUR NEWSLETTERS. 2024 WAS A MILESTONE YEAR FOR BROOKLINK, LEADING US TO HOST OUR FIRST EVER GALA TO CELEBRATE GOD'S FAITHFULNESS DURING OUR 15 YEARS AS A NON-PROFIT. NEARLY 200 GUESTS JOINED US, INCLUDING SPEAKERS FLYING IN FROM UGANDA AND INDIA. THIS BIG EVENT ALSO DREW IN NEARLY 20 NEW DONORS. WE HEARD SO MANY POSITIVE COMMENTS ABOUT OUR GALA THAT WE FELT LED TO HOST ANOTHER IN MAY 2025. FOLLOWING OUR SPRING GALA, WE HOSTED ANOTHER NEW EVENT CALLED "BROOKLINK CHAMPIONS" IN SEPTEMBER WHICH WAS DESIGNED TO INTRODUCE SELECTED DONORS TO CONSIDER INVITING THEIR CIRCLES DEEPER INTO THE SUPPORT OF BROOKLINK.WHILE WE MARVEL AT WAYS THAT GOD OPENED NEW DOORS AND KEPT OTHER DOORS OPEN, WE MARVELED AT INITIATING A NEW WEEKLY GATHERING, BROOKLINK PRAYER. WE HOSTED FRIDAY MORNING ZOOM PRAYER MEETINGS AND ENJOYED SEEING HOW FRIENDS JOINED STAFF FOR 30 MINUTES EVERY FRIDAY TO LIFT OUR NEEDS BEFORE THE LORD. EVEN MORE AMAZING WAS SHARING TOGETHER HOW GOD ANSWERED, DEMONSTRATION THAT WHERE TWO OR MORE ARE GATHERED, THE LORD IS PRESENT.Expenses $308,306 · grants $35,403
