Mission
SUPPORT OF EXEMPLARY PROGRAMS OF TYLER ISD BY PROVIDING RESOURCES TO INSPIRE LEARNING, ENRICH TEACHING AND ENHANCE OPPORTUNITIES FOR DISTRICT STUDENTS.
Program accomplishments
- The Tyler ISD Foundation served over 18,000 students and 2,600 staff of the Tyler Independent School District. The Foundation awarded Grants for Great Ideas to teachers and schools totaling $100,262, professional development grants to teachers totaling $6,000, emergency grants totaling $1,000, other grants totaling $15,000, and scholarships totaling $63,500. In addition, the Foundation gave continuous support to the Tyler Independent School District through programs such as New Teacher Luncheon, Convocation, Teacher Retirement, Teacher of the Year and Night of Shining Stars.Expenses $281,308 · grants $221,585
